BACK Before Now from the Start
The heat has broke and it is a nice 87 degrees out. PTL!

Where we left off last weekend.

Our cedar timber were milled by the Amish. Here Joe goes over the list with
Truman Miller

Truman and his brother prepare to cut our timbers.

Getting them too the saw is a challenge.

Cutting them.

Joe awaits for them to come out and load our trailer.
The roofing was started and neighbor, Lewayne Williams
came to help load the shingles on the roof with his JD tractor.

Thanks Lewayne!

Our dear friend, Frank, came to help and cut, cut, cut lumber
until he never wants to see another piece again!
Don't worry Frank, THE KEYS ARE YOURS!
Frank suggested we put a giant CROSS on the top of the back deck and this way it
will be seen from the lake and
a shadow of the cross will be cast in the living room at sunset.

While we were working, our friends and family came for a labor
Day B-B-Q.

Dad and Dianna out on Main deck.

From the kitchen, out to deck.
Sheeting roof was under Michaels direction, but first they had
to build the Spa deck off our bedroom...

LONG WAY DOWN!

Windows were cut out of loft and kitchen.
Log was set in loft.
Lots of timbers placed on front porch.

The roof was a long tedious job.
