I have been doing this since 1995 and need you to TRUST me.
It amazes me how people trust me to be their breeder,  but lack trust shipping these pups. 
PLEASE LEAVE THE SHIPPING TO ME. I have a Travel Agent that books for me and only ships animals.
I pay for this service to serve you better.

People get VERY nervous shipping puppies.
I have been shipping hundreds of pups for years .
USDA regulates this and I find it very safe.
 USDA requires that pups must be at least eight weeks old and
fully weaned before traveling.  No drugs are used to ship. That is illegal.
  As of 12/2012 (Subject to change) Shipping is $200. with the crate to most city.
We prefer you pay the shipping by Pay Pal when the pup is 7 weeks old.

MY JOB is to BOOK THE FLIGHT.
This is a complicated job and it is a MAJOR SOURCE of irritation
to me when you try to do it for me.
If you want a pup, your FIRST proof of a GOOD OWNER is to
realize on shipping day you need to adjust your schedule to get the pup home.
  Pups generally ship at 8 weeks and
any shipment that is cancelled once a reservation has been made will be charged a cancellation fee of $50.
There is no charge for rescheduling a shipment for a later date due to weather..

I will drive 50 miles at NO charge and then it is .50 A MILE.

Shipping time depends on weather conditions, pup size and weaning/ surgery for spay and neutering.
Typically ALL pups are ready to ship at 8 weeks unless they are SMALL.
PLEASE don't plan vacations around this tentative ship date.
It is VERY unreliable.
DO NOT BOOK A FLIGHT TO FLY IN AND GET YOUR PUPPY UNLESS YOU BUY INSURANCE IF YOU CANCEL.
I WILL NOT LET PUPS GO THAT HAVE A COLD OR ANYTHING AND YOU WILL BE OUT YOUR FLIGHT $$$.
Weather conditions can change a flight in a minute!

WHEN A PUP IS READY TO GO HOME AND YOU ARE NOT READY
THERE IS A $10/DAY BOARDING FEE UNLESS I WAIVE IT.
MY SPACE IS LIMITED AND IT CAN BE A MAJOR INCONVENIENCE FOR ME IF I HAVE MORE PUPS COMING.

My puppy was shipped to me in December 2003 and I had a little trouble, but not due to any fault of Karen at all.  She advised me that the weather was threatening, but to work with my schedule she shipped the dog.  We had a sudden snow storm in NY which fell fast and hard.  The plane was delayed and ultimately diverted because of the weather.  We purchased another dog from Karen which was shipped to us in June 2004 (last month) to LaGuardia Airport and it was absolutely smooth.  We went to the Priority parcel post, gave the air bill number and they immediately gave us the puppy. 
 
Please don't worry about the shipping and trust Karen, she is an honest breeder.  She called me and emailed me constantly.  Good Luck to you, I'm so confident that when you get your puppy you'll be just as happy with your puppy and Karen's service as I am.

Dear Karen,
 I am the woman who, through surely Divine Intervention, got the girl puppy who was born on 5/25, after a woman bounced a check to you.  (My husband said "It was just meant to be.") We sent you an e-mail attachment picture of us picking her up at the airport.  (I don't know if you received it or not, but when you get time, you might want to post it on your shipping page.  What could be hotter than Miami in July at 11 am? The picture was taken immediately after we pulled her out of the crate).  I'm only suggesting this because your web-site has been enormously helpful to me, and I refer to it all of the time. I had doubts about the puppy being shipped, too, and I was a bit worried until we had had her for 24 hours.
  Anyway, Coco is fine and a true blessing.  Yesterday, someone told me she was the cutest puppy she had ever seen, and when we were in Miami, and I took her out with us when we went to get ice cream, she was mobbed.  Three girls actually screamed when they saw her, and a young man, who surely had better things to do on the date he was on, took a picture of her! (I now have severely restricted Coco's outings, since everyone seems to have that reaction, and she won't be completely vaccinated until she is 16 weeks old).   
I can only imagine how busy you are with your children and precious grandchildren and kennel, so I will close again, for now.  Thanks, again, for our Coco, the Spanish word for coconut, since she came into Miami!
